As a supporter, I want to subscribe with amounts higher than 500 EUR per month so that I can provide significantly more financial support and receive more Innovation Tokens to influence the roadmap.
Description
Currently the platform caps monthly subscriptions at 500 EUR. This epic introduces higher subscription tiers beyond that limit, enabling supporters who want to invest more heavily in a product’s development. Higher tiers come with proportionally more Innovation Tokens and visible recognition.
Scope
- Additional subscription tiers above 500 EUR/month (e.g. 1000, 2500, 5000 EUR/month)
- Proportional Innovation Token allocation per tier
- Tier upgrade/downgrade flow via Stripe
- Visible tier badges or recognition on supporter profiles
- Stripe product/price configuration for new tiers
What Are Your Thoughts?
What amounts above 500 EUR/month would be useful? Should higher tiers come with extra perks beyond more tokens? Share your thoughts in the comments below or on our social media channels!
AC1: Tier Selection
- GIVEN a user wants to subscribe to a product WHEN they view the subscription options THEN they see tiers above 500 EUR/month with their corresponding Innovation Token amount
AC2: Tier Upgrade
- GIVEN a supporter is on a lower tier WHEN they upgrade to a higher tier (above 500 EUR/month) THEN their Stripe subscription is updated, and they receive the higher token allocation starting from the next billing cycle
AC3: Tier Downgrade
- GIVEN a supporter is on a higher tier WHEN they downgrade to a lower tier THEN the change takes effect at the end of the current billing period and token allocation adjusts accordingly
AC4: Proportional Token Allocation
- GIVEN a supporter subscribes at a tier above 500 EUR/month WHEN their monthly tokens are allocated THEN the number of tokens is proportional to their subscription amount
AC5: Tier Recognition
- GIVEN a supporter is subscribed at a higher tier WHEN their profile or activity is displayed on the platform THEN their tier level is visually indicated (e.g. badge or label)
